MEET OUR FACILITATORS
Angela Richmond
Fine artist, Teacher.
Angela runs Renew Arts Ottawa with co-leads and has been a part of the Renew Arts community since 2022. She is a visual artist with a BFA specializing in painting and drawing, who was featured in local Ottawa art shows, Nashville-based art subscription boxes and Salt+Light Media. She teaches art studio and art history classes at a Christian Classical elementary school.
Doug Valerio
Visual artist, Minister.
Driven by a lifelong passion for visual art and faith integration, Doug brings decades of creative experience spanning the UK, Australia, and Canada. A UK-trained designer and artist, he serves as Executive Minister at Vineyard Ottawa, leads ArtReach Ottawa, and serves on the Renew Arts leadership team, inspiring others to use their creative gifts for kingdom purposes.
Marjolaine Simard
Creative entrepreneur, Coach, Visual artist.
Marjolaine is a mentor, artist, and the founder of Art That Heals Mentoring. Her work blends creativity, faith, and inner healing to help people break free from fear, rediscover their worth, and create with courage. Through art, prayer, and neuroscience, she offers a gentle, Spirit-led path toward wholeness and restored identity.
Monique Heintzmann
Photographer, Poet.
Monique is a Renew Arts writing facilitator alongside Amy-Joe. Monique is a photographer/poet and has been involved with Renew Arts since 2023. Spending time in creation contemplating and photographing its beauty and intricacy inspires Monique to worship God and to write. Through her poetry and photography, she seeks to illustrate the beauty of God and God's world and the wisdom and healing that come through both.

Anouchka Hollinger
Creative explorer, Curator.
Anouchka curates the Renew Arts collective, cultivating its vision and growth. She is a wife, mother, Swiss-trained professional floral designer, and classically trained violinist and vocalist. A creative explorer and conceptual thinker, she curates spaces where beauty and faith intersect. Composition shapes her work, and she delights in seeing others flourish creatively and step into their full potential.
